The Speed and Agility Program offered by BFIT CrossFit is designed to help young athletes improve essential movements and overall performance. Functional movements improve your athleticism, which increases your speed and provides measurable progress in your sport.
SPEED is critical to success in any sport. This aspect of the program includes a focus on:
- Increased Mobility
- Running Patterns
- Forced Application Against the Ground
AGILITY is essential to quickly altering direction during any sport. This aspect of the program includes a focus on:
- Lateral, Horizontal and Backwards Movements
- Quick Acceleration and Deceleration
- Changing Momentum for a New Direction
Each athlete is evaluated at the start of the Speed and Agility Program to establish benchmarks and to provide clear metrics for progress. This program is designed to enable the athlete to reach maximum potential without injury.
Athletes participating in the Speed and Agility Program will quickly see improvements in their abilities and learn how to avoid common sports injuries. Every athlete will receive an initial evaluation so that progress is easily measured and visible throughout their training program.
