Speed & Agility

The Speed and Agility Program offered by BFIT Sports Performance is designed to help young athletes improve essential movements and overall performance. We use functional movements, plyometrics, medicine balls, linear/multidirectional drills, and sprinting technique to ensure that each athlete will increase in all aspects of their performance, while providing measurable progress.

SPEED is critical to success in any sport. This aspect of the program includes a focus on:
  • Increased Absolute Speed
  • Increased Mobility
  • Running Patterns
  • Improved Linear
  • Acceleration
  • Forced Application
  • Against the Ground

  • AGILITY is essential to quickly altering direction during any sport. This aspect of the program includes a focus on:
  • Lateral, Horizontal and Backwards Movements
  • Quick Acceleration and Deceleration
  • Changing Momentum for a New Direction

  • Each athlete is evaluated at the start of the Speed and Agility Program to establish and provide clear metrics for progress. This program is designed to enable the athlete to reach maximum potential without injury.

    Athletes participating in the Speed and Agility Program will quickly see improvements in their abilities and learn how to avoid common sports injuries.
